Building Team Summit 2
The Building Team Summit 2, which was open to the community, was held on September 14, 2016, during the Options Phase, the second phase of the facilities master planning process. At this meeting, the district shared the results of all of the completed data points, including the community and staff surveys. The district also introduced two new options for Upper Arlington High School and one new option for Jones Middle School that were based on suggestions made by community members on those schools' building teams.
The district also announced a new community-wide online survey available at www.uaschools.org/facilities to collect feedback on the new options for the high school and Jones. All of the options for the seven other school buildings remain under consideration as the superintendent prepares to make a master plan recommendation to the Board of Education at a meeting on Monday, October 10, in the Upper Arlington High School cafeteria.
This new online survey as well as the community feedback from the Building Team Summit will represent a sixth data point for a master plan recommendation.
