Requirements include:
A valid pre-kindergarten teaching certificate, pre-kindergarten endorsement or pre-kindergarten associate license issued under section 3301.50 of the Revised Code.
A valid educator license (teacher, administrator, or pupil services) issued under sections 3319.22 to 3319.31 of the Revised Code and have completed at least four courses in child development or early childhood education from an accredited college, university or technical college.
A valid principal license for grades pre-kindergarten through grade six pursuant to rule 3301-24-05 of the Administrative Code; or
An early childhood license pursuant to rule 3301-24-05 of the Administrative Code.
If employed prior to July 1, 1988, a valid kindergarten-primary certificate issued under sections 3319.22 to 3319.31 of the Revised Code.
