Jenny McKenna

Jenny McKenna, President

Jenny McKenna and her husband, Shawn, have been residents of Upper Arlington for more than 15 years. She is the proud parent of three current Upper Arlington Schools students. McKenna earned a bachelor’s degree in comparative studies from The Ohio State University. McKenna has served Upper Arlington Schools in numerous roles, including the PTO president for Barrington Elementary School, a member of the 2017 Levy Campaign Committee and a member of the Barrington Building Steering Committee during the facilities master plan design phase.  She was re-elected to the Board of Education for her second term in November of 2023. Her term began January 1, 2024, and ends December 31, 2027.



Lou Sauter

LOU SAUTER, VICE PRESIDENT

Lou Sauter is a lifetime resident of Upper Arlington and is a 1989 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. He and his wife are the proud parents of two children. Following his graduation from Upper Arlington High School, Sauter went on to attend The Ohio State University and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1994 to 2001. For the past 21 years, he has managed his family’s business, Buckeye Donuts, where he continues to serve as president. Sauter is a member of the Upper Arlington High School PTO and a dedicated community volunteer, serving as a coach for numerous athletic teams and as a member or leader of several booster organizations. He also was the co-founder of the Harper’s Ferry organization with former Buckeye football player Roger Harper. He has been recognized as the 2004 State of Ohio Employer of the Year for inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace and the 2014 Leadership UA Service to Youth Award recipient. Sauter was elected to the Board of Education in November 2021. His term began on January 1, 2022, and ends on December 31, 2025.




Nidhi Satiani

Nidhi Satiani

Nidhi Satiani has lived in Upper Arlington since 2016 with her husband and two children. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology, master's degrees in vision science and in public health, and a doctorate in optometry from The Ohio State University, where she works as a senior research optometrist. Satiani serves on the Board of Directors for both Erase the Space and Ohio State Mortar Board Alumni Council. She is also active in the Columbus Metropolitan Club, where she serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee; and Seeds of Caring, where she leads service activities with the Broad Street Food Pantry. She is launching a Community Health Action Team in Upper Arlington in partnership with Franklin County Public Health. She has been active in Upper Arlington Schools through the PTO of Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School and served on the Wickliffe Building Steering Committee during the facilities master planning design phase. Satiani was elected to the Board of Education in November 2021. Her term began on January 1, 2022, and ends on December 31, 2025.



Liz George Stump


Liz George Stump

Liz George Stump has lived in Upper Arlington since 2009. She and her husband, Jeff, are the proud parents of two current Upper Arlington Schools students. Stump earned a bachelor’s degree in English and music, and a master’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University. With two decades of experience in corporate financial services, she currently is a department manager in customer service at Discover Financial Services. Stump is a graduate of Leadership UA. Along with being an active parent volunteer for a variety of school activities, she volunteered for the 2022 levy campaign and has led a variety of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts, crossing both professional and personal activities.  Her term began on January 1, 2024, and ends on December 31, 2027.





Lori Trent

Lori Trent

Lori Trent has lived in Upper Arlington for more than 30 years. She and her wife, Kelly, are the proud parents of twin sons, who are graduates of Upper Arlington High School. Trent earned a bachelor’s degree in art education from Miami University and a master’s degree in education from Walden University. Her career experience spans the fields of business and finance, marketing and education. She currently is the development guru for The PAST Foundation. Trent has been a longtime volunteer for the Upper Arlington Schools, most recently as a member of the Strategic Core Group and a co-chair and member of the STEM Advisory Committee. She has also served as a volunteer for the Upper Arlington Civic Association, the Cultural Arts Commission and the City of Upper Arlington’s Citizen Financial Review Team. She was re-elected to the Board of Education for her second term in November 2023. Her term began January 1, 2024 and ends December 31, 2027.
