Scott McKenzie has been a resident of Upper Arlington since 1987. He and his wife, Lori, are proud parents of a current Upper Arlington High School student, and he is also the parent of a UAHS graduate. McKenzie has worked in public education for 38 years in varying roles from teacher to superintendent. Most recently, he served as superintendent of Groveport Madison Schools. Since his retirement from education in 2012, McKenzie has led the marketing and sales division of Dynamix Energy Services. He earned a bachelor’s of arts degree from Capital University and his master’s degree in education from Xavier University. He has been an active community member for many years, serving as the chairman for the Board of Trustees for the Upper Arlington Education Foundation. He has also served as a community consultant on the Financial Advisory Consulting Team for Upper Arlington Schools and as a board member of the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association. McKenzie was elected to the Board of Education in November of 2017. His term began on January 1, 2018 and ends on December 31, 2021.
