It was a great day to be a Golden Bear as hundreds of students, families, alumni and community members gathered on Sunday, April 7 for a historic moment for the Upper Arlington community — the ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Upper Arlington High School. Although rain forced the ceremony indoors, spirits were high as the marching band, choir and symphony strings kicked off the event and student ambassadors from all nine of Upper Arlington’s schools stepped up to be the first to break ground for the new high school. After the ceremony, any and all community members were able to come forward to break ground and take photos.
