If your volunteer activities require a background check, please read more about the process and find a link below to the online background check form.
- Please complete and submit the online background check form (see the link below) at least 5 days before the volunteer activity. Please include your email address in your submission so that the District can contact you when the background check is completed. There is no charge to the volunteer to receive this background check.
- Once the District is notified that the volunteer has passed the background check (24 to 48 hours after the online form is submitted), the volunteer will be contacted to come to the Central Office, 1950 North Mallway Drive, to sign the District-approved volunteer form and receive a picture ID as an approved Upper Arlington City School Volunteer. District office hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted. Please call the district office at (614) 487-5000 to confirm the availability of a staff member who can assist you with getting your volunteer badge.
- Volunteers will be required to renew their badges every three school years. A new background check will be required, and a new badge will be issued.
