Early Childhood Learning

Burbank Early Childhood School (BECS) has proudly served the Upper Arlington community since 1983. BECS offers a state-required early intervention program for children with special education needs as well as a full-day, tuition-based preschool program.  BECS is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

The mission of the BECS program is to strengthen the community by providing a quality education for Upper Arlington’s youngest learners. BECS follows an Emergent Curriculum, where children and teachers co-construct learning opportunities together. Teachers follow the interests of children to help them discover, play and grow together. Positive, nurturing relationships are at the heart of all interactions.

To learn more about the BECS philosophy, please visit the program’s website.
