Upper Arlington Schools is recognized as a leader in the performing arts in the state of Ohio. Our widely renowned performing arts program is an essential part of our commitment to educating and supporting the whole child.

Our performing arts opportunities begin at the elementary level with K-5 general music classes. At the middle level, students have the opportunity to choose their related arts path and pursue performance-based music options such as band, choir and orchestra. Co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities at the middle level help to further develop students' passions and skills in the performing arts.

At the high school level, there are multiple curricular and co-curricular opportunities in the performing arts through our acclaimed band, orchestra, vocal music and theater programs. These programs are renowned within the Upper Arlington community and across the state of Ohio — consistently earning high honors at juried and adjudicated competitions.
