Summer Academy

Upper Arlington Schools is proud to offer Summer Academy — providing students with flexible and engaging ways to learn, grow and stay on track during the summer months. Summer Academy includes a wide range of opportunities for students in grades K-12 — from new credit and enrichment courses to remediation and targeted study sessions.

Schedules and costs vary by course, and offerings may adjust based on staffing and registration interest.

2026 Summer Academy Dates

Summer Academy will run from June 2, 2026 - June 26, 2026. Schedules will vary based on the course. 

2026 Course Offerings

• Full credit and enrichment courses for grades 6-12 – fee-based

• Credit recovery and intervention courses for grades 6-12 – free of charge

• Reading intervention for qualifying students completing grades 2 and 3 – free of charge (Note: Notification will be sent to families of students who qualify.)

Registration and Course Information

Online registration for new credit and enrichment courses will be open beginning on March 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. through May 15, 2026. Families should receive an email with confirmation of registration within one week of submitting the request. If there is a waiting list on classes with enrollment caps, you will be notified if you are on a waitlist.  

Students and families will be notified of credit recovery options from counselors. Registration for these courses ends on June 1.
