Summer Academy
This year, the Upper Arlington Summer Academy will be undergoing some changes to both the program offerings and how the program is funded.
For the past four years, COVID relief funds allowed the district to offer expanded, K-12 Summer Academy programming free of charge to families. With those funds now expired, Summer Academy will be returning to a family-funded model with select course offerings, similar to how the program operated before COVID. The district will use this summer’s Summer Academy enrollment data to help guide future planning.
What to Expect for 2025
-
Full credit and enrichment courses for grades 6-12 – fee-based
-
Credit recovery and intervention courses for grades 6-12 – free of charge
- Reading intervention for qualifying students completing grades 2 and 3 – free of charge (Note: Notification has already been sent to families of students who qualify.)
