Summer Academy Course Offerings
New Credit Courses
- New credit courses have a UA instructor with office hours.
- All online courses are asynchronous.
- Double-check the final date of the course — it is firm, and all work must be completed by then to receive credit.
- All courses are aligned to Ohio Learning Standards and count toward graduation requirements.
- Grades will be sent to the counselors at the conclusion of the course.
Refund requests must be made via email by May 28, 2026. There is no refund request for courses dropped after the start date.

Enrichment Courses
- Most courses are in-person.
- Schedules may be the entire three weeks, one week or one day weekly.
Refund requests must be made via email by May 28, 2026. There is no refund request for courses dropped after the start date.

Credit Recovery
- Dates are June 1 to June 26, 2026.
- The high school courses are designed for UAHS students only who failed to earn credit for one semester. These courses are not for grade replacement.
- These courses are free of charge.
- The entire Edgenuity course must be completed to regain credit.
- Other credit recovery courses will be assigned by counselors without an assigned instructor.
End of Course Exam Retakes
- June 22-24: Instructor-led in-person study sessions
- June 26-27: Retakes will be scheduled.
Register for retakes by June 10.
