Semiconductor Program
Offered in partnership with Columbus State Community College and Intel, Upper Arlington’s Semiconductor Program is a catalyst for future workforce opportunities in the high-demand field of semiconductor manufacturing. This program provides students with College Credit Plus coursework in automation and process control — two key skills needed to launch a career as an electro-mechanical technician. These technicians are highly desired by companies for their knowledge, skills and expertise in maintaining a vast array of high-tech mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and automation systems used in production. Courses in the Semiconductor/Engineering program contribute towards the completion of a Semiconductor Fundamentals certificate program and/or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology AAS degree at Columbus State Community College.
