UA Online Academy

With a physical home at the UA Hub, the UA Online Academy is a wonderful opportunity for students and families for whom the traditional in-person setting or schedule does not meet their current needs. The UA Online Academy is open to students in grades 6 through 12 who are currently enrolled in the Upper Arlington Schools. It gives families an option for their students to learn at home with a curriculum specifically created for online education and monitored by Upper Arlington teachers. Students who have been a part of the Online Academy are both challenged and very successful.

While there are some mandatory Zoom sessions that students are required to attend, the Online Academy offers a lot of flexibility for students within the week to work ahead at their own pace. Students who have been a part of the Online Academy are both challenged and very successful. 

The UA Online Academy has defined course offerings; not all courses available in person are available online. The Online Academy (grades 6-12) uses the Edgenuity online curriculum.

Online Academy Enrollment and Transfers (Grades 6-12)

Upper Arlington Schools currently offers an online learning opportunity for students in grades 6 through 12 through the UA Online Academy. The UA Online Academy provides a unique blend of online coursework, live virtual class meetings and periodic in-person interactions. Families will have the opportunity to enroll in the UA Online Academy for the upcoming semester.

To enroll in the UA Online Academy: 

The Upper Arlington Online Academy is opening its spring transfer window for the 2026-2027 school year from Monday, May 4, through Sunday, May 10. Parents interested in the UA Online Academy for their learner should complete the UA Online Academy Enrollment Form by the May 10 deadline. This enrollment represents a semester-long commitment, ensuring students have the stability and time to truly thrive within our community.
