At Jones Middle School we strongly believe in the educational value of interscholastic athletics. These are our goals as a department for your son and/or daughter:
- Have fun!
- Allow student-athletes to learn and develop fundamental skills of the sport
- Teach the student-athlete teamwork and sportsmanship
- To provide an opportunity for the student-athlete to participate in a successful manner in games/matches without regard to the final outcome of the game/match (win/loss/tie)
- Provide a common ground for students, parents, coaches, and administration to meet, and interact.
