Welcome to the Golden Bears Class of 2035!

Upper Arlington Schools is excited to welcome the Golden Bears Class of 2035 in August of 2022! Children who will be 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2022, are eligible for kindergarten during the 2022-2023 school year.

Upper Arlington Schools is pleased to offer a full-day kindergarten program for the families of Upper Arlington. For more about our all-day kindergarten program, please click here.

The kindergarten registration window will open on Monday, February 7, 2022. We encourage families to complete the registration process between Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, March 8, 2022, for staffing and planning purposes.

Families may follow the steps below to learn more about the kindergarten experience and the registration process.

STEP 1: Attend an information meeting for parents/guardians of incoming kindergarteners

All five elementary schools in the Upper Arlington Schools are looking forward to introducing families to our districtwide all-day kindergarten program at our upcoming kindergarten information nights. Due to the current COVID situation, we will now be holding these information nights virtually, and we look forward to offering families an opportunity to get to know our kindergarten program, our schools and our staff.

Our kindergarten information nights will be held via a Zoom webinar on the following dates and times. You can access the webinars using the links provided below.

Barrington Elementary School - Tuesday, January 25 at 6:00 p.m.: https://zoom.us/j/91739057993

Please note that Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School is a school of choice and does not have an attendance boundary as it offers the Informal Program to students living in the Greensview, Tremont and Windermere attendance areas. Barrington Elementary School offers both the informal and contemporary instruction models to students living in that attendance area.

In preparation for registration, please prepare the documents listed in Step 3.

Step 2: Complete online registration forms beginning on Monday, February 7, 2022

Before online registration opens, you’ll want to gather the student’s family medical history and contact information for trusted, local adults the school could contact if parents and guardians cannot be reached during an emergency.

A link to begin the registration process will be available on this webpage beginning on Monday, February 7. We encourage families to complete the registration process between Monday, February 7 and Tuesday, March 8, 2022 for staffing and planning purposes.

Step 3: Finalize your student's registration by submitting the required documents online
