Our Commitment to the Whole Child

student and teacher hugging

Upper Arlington Schools remains committed to our long-running philosophy of educating the whole child through not only academics but the arts, service learning, athletics and unique real-world learning opportunities that expose students to authentic career-based experiences and skills that they’ll take into their next step in life.

We are also committed to fostering an environment that values the unique experiences and perspectives of all students, staff and families.

Student voice is a critical part of this — and we have taken a big step forward with the launch of Amplify, a one-of-its-kind student voice committee that empowers students to share their perspectives and gives them a voice in district policies and procedures that influence their lives.

Listening to students and responding to their thoughts and their needs is central to supporting every learner's growth. By prioritizing authentic representation and supporting individual needs, we are creating a school community where very feels they belong and can thrive.
