Fostering a Conversation presents author Damon West

What does it mean to be a coffee bean? The student-led Fostering a Conversation committee invites the Upper Arlington community to explore that question with Damon West on Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Upper Arlington High School.

West’s “coffee bean” philosophy challenges individuals to consider how they respond when faced with adversity. A college professor and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Coffee Bean, Damon shares his powerful story of resilience, redemption and servant leadership. 

The Fostering a Conversation series, led by Upper Arlington High School students, connects the Upper Arlington community across generations through a collaboration between the Upper Arlington Community Foundation, UA Schools, and the UA Education Foundation and Alumni Association.

Tickets — $25, or $10 for students/faculty or senior citizens (65+) — are available for purchase at fosteringaconversationua.com. All proceeds will support future Fostering a Conversation events.
