Upper Arlington Schools is proud to announce that Hastings Middle School Assistant Principal Megan Lippert has been named the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) Zone 10 Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year.

The recognition honors outstanding middle school administrators across the region and places Lippert among the candidates being considered for the Ohio Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year award later this summer.

Lippert was nominated for the honor by Hastings Principal Penny Stires, who shared a congratulatory video message while accompanying students on the Washington, D.C., trip. Superintendent Robert Hunt, Ph.D., along with Board of Education President Jenny McKenna and Vice President Liz George Stump, surprised Lippert with the announcement during the school day and offered congratulations on behalf of the district and Board of Education.

“Megan is an exceptional leader who builds strong relationships with students, staff and families,” said Superintendent Robert Hunt, Ph.D. “She leads with compassion, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to students, and this recognition is a reflection of the tremendous impact she makes every day.”

Lippert’s leadership and dedication have made a meaningful difference for the Hastings school community, and the district congratulates her on this well-deserved honor.
