Let's get ready for kindergarten registration in February!

The Upper Arlington Schools community is looking forward to welcoming the Golden Bears Class of 2039! 

Due to a new state law, children will now need to be 5 years of age as of the first day of school — August 12, 2026, for the upcoming school year — to be eligible for kindergarten. This is a change from previous years.

The district is pleased to offer a full-day kindergarten program for the families of Upper Arlington. Full-day kindergarten in Upper Arlington Schools gives our younger learners more opportunities to learn and grow socially, emotionally and academically.

Before registration begins, all five elementary schools will offer kindergarten information nights to provide families with more information about the kindergarten program and registration process. 

• Barrington Elementary School — Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m.
• Greensview Elementary School — Thursday, January 29 at 6:30 p.m.
• Tremont Elementary School —  Tuesday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m.
• Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School —  Thursday, February 12 at 6:30 p.m.
• Windermere Elementary School — Wednesday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Families interested in enrolling their child or children may do so beginning at 9 a.m. on February 17, 2026, through an online registration form that will be available at www.uaschools.org/kindergarten. We strongly encourage families to complete the registration process between February 17 and March 15, 2026, for staffing and planning purposes.
