UAHS students honored for excellence in the arts with regional Scholastic awards

Five Upper Arlington High School students have received a combined six awards in the 2025 Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Competition, the country’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. 

Senior Jaida W. received a Silver Key and an honorable mention in drawing. Junior Lucy H. also received a Silver Key in drawing. 

Receiving honorable mentions were junior Ken B. in mixed media, freshman Aseel F. in drawing, and senior Gage G. in drawing.

The Central Ohio Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition is on display at the Columbus College of Art and Design in the Joseph V. Canzani Building through March 6.
