Your Voice Matters on the Draft Master Plan Recommendations!

Now is the time to share your thoughts on the draft master plan recommendations for our aging middle schools and Burbank Early Childhood School — before final decisions are made.

We encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the online survey, open now through April 9.

These recommendations are the result of an extensive, community-driven process, with more than 5,000 touchpoints over the past two years. Feedback from staff, families and community members — along with the expertise of our Financial Advisory Board — has directly shaped the draft master plan recommendations.

The Board of Education has requested one final round of community input before taking action this spring.  This survey seeks your thoughts on the key areas of the recommendations. Although this survey focuses on the facilities master plan recommendations, the district anticipates the Board of Education placing a combined operating levy and bond issue on the ballot in November 2026.

Your voice is especially important at this stage. This is the opportunity to help ensure the final plan reflects our community’s shared priorities for Hastings, Jones and Burbank, and the preK-12 experience as a whole.
