The Upper Arlington Education Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Alice Finley will serve as the new executive director.
Finley has nearly a decade of experience with the foundation, beginning as a volunteer for the Golden Bear Bash! fundraiser. She then became a member, and eventually the chairperson, of the board of trustees. Most recently she has served as the organization's program and project specialist.
“Alice has a proven track record of working with donors and has demonstrated ways in which we can grow existing relationships and develop new donor relationships that will be significant to the foundation’s future growth and positive impact on students,” said Tracy Peters, chairperson of the UA+Ed Board of Trustees.
Finley will begin in her new role in April, accepting the torch being passed on by long-time executive director, Joanie Dugger.
“I’ve learned so much from working with Joanie,” Finley shared. “She and I share a passion for the schools, students and the mission of our organization. It will be my pleasure to work closely with our trustees, school employees and all of the generous donors in our community as we continue to enhance the education of students in Upper Arlington.”
