Club T1D

Club T1D will raise money for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas stops producing insulin.  People with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) must take multiple injections of insulin daily via shots or an insulin pump.  This disease affects all ages and lasts a lifetime---for now.

This club will meet to plan fundraisers, discuss the JDRF walk, t-shirt designing, corporate brainstorming, and recruitment of new members.

Meeting location:  Room 246

Meeting days/times:  Monday mornings 7:30 a.m.

Advisor: Kristy Wilhelmson
