School Resource Officer Program
The school resource officer program is made possible through a partnership between the school district and the Upper Arlington Division of Police. The goal of the program is to promote a safe school environment while providing additional role models and support systems for students.
Officer Jon Rice
The Upper Arlington SRO program began in 2014 when Officer Jon Rice joined Upper Arlington High School. Officer Rice joined the Upper Arlington Division of Police in 2006. Prior to his service in Upper Arlington, he spent twelve years with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, serving on that agency’s SWAT team for eight of those years.
Officer John Greene
Officer Greene joined the Upper Arlington Division of Police in 2013 and has earned both the Medal of Meritorious Service and the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Award. Prior to moving to Upper Arlington, he spent four years as a police officer for the city of Memphis, Tennessee.
