5 UAHS juniors recognized with national academic honors

Five Upper Arlington High School juniors have been selected as College Board National Recognition Program honorees. 

The College Board offers these national recognition awards to honor academic excellence among underrepresented populations. Students are considered for these awards based on academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or at least two Advanced Placement exams. They must also identify as African American/Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Indigenous, or attend high school in a rural area or small town.

Receiving honors this year from Upper Arlington High School are:


  • Isabel B., National Hispanic Recognition Award

  • MaKaylah P., National African American Recognition Award

  • Brooke V., National African American Recognition Award

  • Corina V., National Hispanic Recognition Award

  • Keita W., National Hispanic Recognition Award
