Upper Arlington High School’s girls lacrosse team weathered nearly three hours in delays due to storms to capture their 11th state championship with a 14-10 win over Olentangy Liberty on June 3. This is Upper Arlington’s 151st state championship — spanning nearly a century.
The girls lacrosse team is coached by Upper Arlington alumni Laura Sandbloom. This is her first season, and her first state title, as Upper Arlington’s coach.
