UAHS girls lacrosse team wins fourth consecutive state championship

The Upper Arlington High School girls lacrosse team remains the top team in the state for the fourth straight year after defeating New Albany 11-5 to win the Division I state championship.

By winning the state title on June 2 at Ohio Wesleyan University, the Golden Bears finished the season a perfect 24-0.

This is the girls lacrosse team’s ninth state title overall and Upper Arlington High School’s 142nd state championship.

The Upper Arlington girls lacrosse team is coached by Wendy Pinta, who was named the National Coach of the Year in girls lacrosse and the Ohio School Girls Lacrosse Association Coach of the Year. This is her seventh state title as Upper Arlington’s coach.
