At its Board meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, the Board will consider adoption of a consolidated Internet Safety/Internet Content Filtering policy. The Board’s current policies and practices comply with the Children’s Internet Protection Act, which requires districts to use Internet filters to prevent access to inappropriate website material. The Board is consolidating existing policy language into one comprehensive policy in order to streamline annual certification to federal authorities.
