The Ohio State University, along with the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Caucus for Women in Statistics (CWS), presents Florence Nightingale Day (FNday) for high school students to develop interest in statistics and data science, do activities with data and establish connections. OSU will host the 4th annual FNday as a virtual event - due to COVID-19 - on Oct 23, 2021, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All students in grades 8-12 are invited to attend this free event as part of an international promotion of data science and data analytics. Throughout the day, students will meet successful professionals at various stages of their careers in statistics and data science, take on data challenges and have fun.
