New traffic pattern to take effect in Wickliffe neighborhood
Throughout the planning process for the new Wickliffe, Upper Arlington Schools has been working with the City of Upper Arlington to prepare for construction and its impact on the neighborhoods surrounding our school. As a result, there will be a new traffic pattern taking effect on the streets surrounding Wickliffe beginning the week of July 22. Families and residents will see the following changes on these streets:
  • Wickliffe Road: becomes one-way (eastbound) between Cimmaron and Avalon roads;
  • Eastcleft Drive: becomes one-way (westbound) between Cimmaron and Avalon roads; and
  • Cimmaron Road: becomes one-way (northbound) between Eastcleft Drive and Wickliffe Road.

City officials anticipate that this will ease traffic congestion as we prepare for the new Wickliffe to open and welcome Windermere students and staff to the old Wickliffe building in the fall of 2020-2021. The city’s Engineering Division will continue to monitor traffic on all streets surrounding our school.

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with this map showing these changes and proceed with extra caution and patience on the streets surrounding Wickliffe as we start the school year.
