UAHS girls lacrosse wins 5th consecutive state championship
Upper Arlington girls lacrosse team posing with their trophyThe Upper Arlington High School girls lacrosse team remains the top team in the state for the fifth consecutive year after defeating New Albany 12-10 to win the Division I state championship.

By winning the state title on June 1 at Ohio Wesleyan University, the Golden Bears finished the season 20-2-2.

This is the girls lacrosse team’s 10th state title overall and Upper Arlington High School’s 143rd state championship.

The Upper Arlington girls lacrosse team is coached by Wendy Pinta, who was named the 2017 National Coach of the Year in girls lacrosse and Ohio School Girls Lacrosse Association Coach of the Year. This is her eighth state title as Upper Arlington’s coach.
