The entire Upper Arlington Schools staff came together for a day of professional learning centered on well-being on May 2, 2023. The day gave staff members the opportunity to focus on the district’s strategic priority of student and staff well-being through whole group learning and more than 40 breakout sessions to choose from in the morning. The afternoon allowed for every department or building to have time to reflect on the current school year and plan for the upcoming school year as it relates to well-being.
"I just enjoyed stepping away from the day to day of what we do and really talking about Upper Arlington, talking about creating a sense of belonging and improving the student experience here," Incoming Superintendent Robert Hunt, Ph.D., shares.
