Summer learning has been in full swing in Upper Arlington Schools, with more than 1,000 students — elementary through high school — taking part in our summer learning programs: Summer Academy, Summer Reading for grades 1-3 and our extended school year program. These opportunities are meeting the individual needs of our students by allowing them to:
Grow their academic skills in math, reading or writing;
Earn middle school or high school credit;
Explore their passions in STEM, the arts and music;
Develop lifelong skills involving studying, time management and public speaking;
Expand on their social and well-being skills such as communication, conflict resolution and technology etiquette.
Once again, due to a generous federal grant, all courses and workshops in Summer Academy 2022 were offered tuition free.
