Back-to-school forms and fees are now available for families to complete prior to the start of the school year on Tuesday, August 16. Please read below for the steps you’ll need to follow.
RETURNING STUDENTS (GRADES 1-12): Families of returning students who completed the previous school year with Upper Arlington Schools will need to complete back-to-school forms in the PowerSchool Parent Portal and pay any instructional or technology fees associated with your student in SPS EZpay.
To complete the back-to-school forms: Please log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and click on “Forms” in the left navigation menu. For step-by-step instructions on how to access the forms in the Parent Portal, please visit our website. If you have any questions about the back-to-school forms or difficulty accessing the PowerSchool Parent Portal, please contact [email protected]. Please note that any updates to your emergency contacts or your personal contact information will need to be verified and completed by your school; please contact your school with your student’s name and all requested changes.
To pay any instructional or technology fees: Please log in to SPS EZPay and click on “Student Fees” for each student in your family. For instructions on how to create an SPS EZpay account or add a new student to an account, please visit our website. If you have any questions about student fees, please contact [email protected]. If you have difficulty accessing your account, please call 1-866-MYEZPAY.
NEW STUDENTS (GRADES K-12): Families of students new to Upper Arlington Schools for the 2022-2023 school year will need to pay any instructional or technology fees associated with your student in SPS EZpay. Families of new students do not need to complete the back-to-school forms, as all forms were completed during the registration process.
To pay any instructional or technology fees: Please log in to SPS EZPay and click on “Student Fees” for each student in your family. As a reminder, families wishing to purchase the optional Technology Protection Plan must complete the technology forms in PowerSchool (if not already done so during the new student registration process) AND pay the $25 fee in SPS EZpay before the first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year (August 16, 2022). If the $25 fee is not paid by the first day of school, the plan is void.
Please complete all back-to-school forms and pay all available fees by August 15, 2022. If paying instructional or technology fees would present a hardship for your family, please reach out to your school counselor.
School lunches
Due to the pandemic, the federal government has been providing universal free school meals for students. This program has allowed Upper Arlington Schools and other school districts to provide free lunches to all students since the spring of 2020.
This federal waiver program expired this summer. This means that beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, free or reduced-price meals will be available only to the families that qualify based upon financial need. The free or reduced-price meal benefit application is available in the Titan Family Portal.
All other students will be charged for meals and a la carte items / snacks purchased through the school cafeteria.

Device Swap and Distribution (Grades K, 9 and new students)
Kindergarten and elementary students new to the district will receive their device during the first week of school in their classrooms.
Incoming 9th grade students will swap their 6th generation iPad from middle school on their first day/week of school for the newer 8th generation iPad that HS students use. This exchange will be coordinated with freshman activities scheduled at the high school during the day.
High school students new to the district can pick up their device from the first-floor tech office during the first week of school.
