Following a series of community engagement opportunities in the superintendent search process, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) shared an initial presentation to report back on its findings to the Board of Education at its regular meeting on October 11, 2022.
At the meeting, HYA shared the results of a series of engagement opportunities for students, staff members, parents/guardians and community members. Through on-site and virtual forums, focus groups, interviews and an online survey, HYA heard from approximately 1,500 stakeholders representing all groups.
Based on this feedback, HYA shared the primary takeaways and priorities for stakeholders, as well as the top 10 desired characteristics of the next superintendent.
HYA will be preparing a full leadership profile report to share with the Board of Education, which will be posted on this webpage when available.
