February 2020 Construction Update: Work quickly progressing on all projects
This year, the Upper Arlington community will see the first of several significant milestones as we begin to open new and renovated learning spaces in the first phase of the facilities master plan. This began at Tremont Elementary School in mid-February, with the opening of the new kindergarten and media center addition and the renovated second floor classrooms.

All five projects underway in the first phase of the Upper Arlington Schools facilities master plan remain on schedule and on budget, and contractors continue to make great progress.

Tremont Elementary School renovation and addition
In February, the first of the new and renovated learning spaces opened - on schedule and on budget - to students at Tremont. Many thanks to the teachers, operations staff and construction team for all of their work to prepare the new kindergarten and media center addition and renovated second floor classrooms.

The Tremont project is continuing with a similar renovation of the first floor classrooms, which will be completed for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.

Barrington Elementary School renovation and addition
The new classroom addition is now enclosed, and interior framing is well underway.

New Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School project
The new building also is fully enclosed, and interior framing and brick veneer work has begun.

New Greensview Elementary School project
Crews are working on interior finishes and painting. The roof and brick veneer work have been completed.

New Upper Arlington High School project
Installation of structural steel and masonry walls continues to progress throughout the new building. Elements like walkways over Golden Bear Boulevard, the natatorium bleachers and the new auditorium are beginning to take shape.

Construction Timeline
