Building Our Future - Grand Opening Celebration

Beginning in the fall of 2015, the Upper Arlington community came together to craft a long-term facilities master plan for the district’s aging schools. Thousands of residents, staff members and students took part in the process and shared their thoughts on the future of Upper Arlington’s schools and the designs for the six projects in the first phase of the district’s community-developed master plan.

This August, the entire Upper Arlington community will celebrate the completion of these projects - on budget and on schedule - for the start of the 2021-2022 school year!

Please join us on Sunday, August 15 for a community grand opening celebration and open houses for all of our facilities master plan projects. This is an opportunity to go inside the new Upper Arlington High School and all of our new elementary schools just a few days before the start of the school year. We’ll kick things off with a ribbon-cutting celebration inside the new high school, and open houses will follow at all six buildings.
