Your school counselor is excited to meet you soon! Before your meeting, please review the links below and come to your meeting with an idea of the classes you're interested in taking. Your counselor will help finalize your schedule and answer any questions you have. We can’t wait to welcome you in person!
Summer Service Requirement
We recently shared this letter outlining the summer service requirements for all students in the Classes of 2027 through 2030. Each student must complete 6 hours of unpaid community service between June 1 and September 30, 2026.
Because you are new to the district, please note the following after reviewing the letter:
- No Summer MaiaLearning Access: New student accounts will not be active on the platform until the end of the summer.
- Track Hours Manually: Students must keep their own log of all summer volunteer hours.
- For each activity, you must note the following:
- Organization name and location
- Student role and description of work
- Personal reflection
- Dates and total hours worked
- Supervisor name and email address
- At the beginning of the school year, students will receive their UA emails, enter this saved information into MaiaLearning, and trigger the automatic supervisor verification email.
