Windermere Weekly Family Update 3-22-21

Windermere Weekly Parent Update

3.22.21

We are SO lucky!!!  We love our families at Windermere.  On behalf of the entire Windermere staff, THANK YOU for the goodies on Wednesday before break and for this welcome on the Thursday before break!  Wow!!!!!  It made our hearts burst with happiness.  And, we mean it, we feel so LUCKY that we have the parents we have here at Windermere.

I hope each of you had a terrific spring break.   The time always gives us an opportunity to appreciate what we don’t often have, and that is TIME with our children without the stressors during a normal week.  Whatever it is you did last week, I hope it was great!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow morning.

Julie

Town Hall Zoom (March 23 @ 10:00 a.m.): Here is the zoom webinar link to view our Town Hall Meeting. We are looking forward to celebrating our Windermere community and all of the unique flora (our students) who make Windermere beautiful with the diversity and individuality they bring! Our families are an integral part of our school community and we want to include everyone in your home as we celebrate coming back together after the break. Online Academy families can find a link to our follow-up activity HEREWe would love for our OA students to drop off their flower by April 1st to the plastic envelope on our front doors. Our related arts teachers have created a Family Activity Choice Board for you to do some fun things at home together. You will notice that our art activity involves painting a rock. For families that don’t have a smooth baked potato-sized rock available, we hope to be able to provide one for you. If you have access to multiple rocks like this, please consider bringing some into Mrs. Taylor or Mrs. O’Keefe and we will distribute these extras to families who need them!
