Tremont Families update August 9, 2021

Parent Newsletter: August 9th, 2021

  • We have updated our Parent Guidebook for this year! Here is the link and we hope it makes your life a little easier! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have questions.

  • Please try to attend our Tremont Building Opening on August 15th at 2:30pm so your student can visit their classroom before arriving for the first of school.

    • Masks are highly recommended

  • Please make a strong effort to run software update on your iPad BEFORE returning to school.

  • Testing reports will be available for pick-up at Open House on August 25th or in the office until September 2nd. If they aren’t picked up by the 2nd, we will send them home with students on September 3rd.

  • The best way to sign into Seesaw is through ClassLink!

    • When students tap on Seesaw in ClassLink, they will see a Log into Seesaw button. This will launch the Seesaw app and automatically sign the student in without asking for a username or password, which avoids the chance to miss the Sign In with Google button.

    • Once you sign in through ClassLink the first time, the Seesaw app on the iPad will remember the account info. After that initial ClassLink sign in, students can open the Seesaw app directly as it will keep them signed in.

  • 5th Grade Breakfast is this Friday at 7:30 at the rear playground or in the cafeteria in case of inclement weather. We are so excited to celebrate our 5th graders!

  • Thanks to a USDA waiver, all students enrolled in Upper Arlington Schools (preK-12) will be able to receive free lunch this school year. At the high school and middle schools, grab-and-go breakfast will also be available for no charge, and a la carte options will still be charged to students’ EZPay accounts. We will communicate with families in advance of any changes to this temporary federal program.
