SACC (School-Age Child Care) is affordable, quality, before & after-school programming for children attending Barrington, Greensview, Tremont, Wickliffe and Windermere Elementary Schools.
Daily activities that are fun and age appropriate are designed for children ages kindergarten through fifth grade. Outdoor recreational activity is encouraged, as well as indoor activities that promote cooperation and independent problem solving. Assistance with homework is also available.
Hours of operation are traditionally from 2:50 to 6:00 p.m. at all five elementary school buildings, and morning hours are offered only at Tremont Elementary, from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. For the 2020-2021 school year only, Wickliffe Progressive Elementary School is offering morning and afternoon hours due to a one-year only change in their school day hours.
Children must attend the SACC program at the school they attend daily. Parents cannot request to have their children bused to another site. The program is designed to be a link between school and home for the working parent. To ensure the safety of the children and the quality of the program, SACC enrollment will be controlled by the space and staff that is available at each site, and as mandated by the Ohio Department of Education.
