IMPORTANT JMS YEARBOOK INFORMATION - If you have moved during the school year or plan to move this summer and have ordered a 2020-21 yearbook, please email Nicole Morgan at [email protected] with your new mailing address ASAP. A friendly reminder, yearbooks are mailed to your home in late July!
SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS: JMS will not be having a school supply sale this year. We have attached the school supply list for each grade level. Please reach out to your grade level counselor if you need financial assistance.
POWERSCHOOL DOWN TIME - All PowerSchool servers (PowerSchool, PowerSchool Parent Portal, Student Portal) will be upgraded to the latest version, 21.4, on Saturday June 12, 2021 from 1:00-5:00 PM. PowerSchool will be unavailable during this time. Families and students will not be able to log in to check grade cards during this time.
NUTRITIONAL SERVICES JOB OPENINGS - NOW HIRING - Upper Arlington Schools Nutritional Services is looking for part-time cashiers / food service workers for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.
* Up to 4 hours per day available
* Monday - Friday (no weekends, evenings or holidays)
* Work while your children are in school and be home when they are - including summer
* Daily interaction and support of Upper Arlington Schools students
* Positions available at all building levels (including the new high school)
* Minimum starting wage $12.98/hour

SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM - Please be sure to check the email that was sent on Friday the 21st regarding this year's Summer BRIDGE Program. SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES - The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio has put together a resource directory of summer camp and summer school opportunities for students with disabilities for this upcoming summer.
ATTENTION ALL 6TH GRADE PARENTS - Beat the August rush to the pediatrician’s office and schedule your child’s well check -up today!
- Students entering 7th grade this August are required to have the booster shot called Tdap. Don’t confuse this with the series your child got when they were under 5 years old! This booster vaccine is for preteens and teens. See the links below for more information.
- Students entering 7th grade this August are also required to get a meningococcal shot. See the link below for more information.
- Send your child’s immunization record to the School Nurse at [email protected]
- Finally, please make arrangements to have your child’s medication picked up from the Health Office before the end of the year. Medication for 8th graders will not be transferred to the high school due to the ongoing construction.

Tryouts will be held August 2nd, 3rd, 4th from 8:00 am to 9:30 am in the Jones Middle School Gymnasium. A 3-day tryout is required.

FUTURE UAHS GIRLS SOCCER PLAYERS - Annual Middle School Camp (girls entering grades 6-8) will be at Tremont Turf Field from 4:30-6:15pm June 14-17. Please fill out the registration form at the UAGS website for more information HERE. Deadline to register is May 14, 2021.
