UAHS students honored for excellence in the arts with regional Scholastic awards

Six Upper Arlington High School seniors received a combined 12 awards in the 2024 Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Competition, the country’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. 


Maddy R. received a Gold Key in drawing, and Corina V. received a Gold Key in photography — automatically qualifying them both to move on to the national Scholastic competition.


Receiving Silver Key awards were Maddy R., two in drawing and one in portfolio; Maggie N., portfolio; and Jillian S., drawing. Receiving honorable mention awards were Corina V., photography; Keira B., painting, ceramics and portfolio; and Caroline K., portfolio. 


The Central Ohio Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition is on display at the Columbus College of Art and Design at the Acock Gallery in the Joseph V. Canzani Center - 2nd floor. The exhibition can be viewed during regular campus hours until March 7.
