In all of our efforts, the Upper Arlington Schools community strives to ensure our students are uniquely accomplished and prepared to serve, lead and succeed. The incredible legacy of the Upper Arlington High School athletics program provides many examples of student athletes who have offered great service and leadership to their support and, in turn, experienced great success. The Upper Arlington High School Athletic Hall of Fame seeks to recognize these student athletes as well as members of the Upper Arlington Schools community who have made significant contributions to the school’s athletic program.
The Upper Arlington High School Athletic Hall of Fame held its inaugural ceremony in April 2017. Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus of the Upper Arlington High School Class of 1957 was the Hall of Fame's first inductee. The second induction class of the Upper Arlington High School Athletic Hall of Fame was honored in January 2018.
A selection committee of former student athletes, community members, coaches and administrators, including the athletic director and assistant athletic director, accepts nominations for outstanding athletes, coaches and friends of the program who have contributed to the impressive history of the school’s athletic program as well as embodied or supported the school district’s vision of uniquely accomplished students prepared to serve, lead and succeed.
Nominations may be submitted at any time but must be received by September 1 to be considered for induction the following year.
